I’m thrilled to welcome you to the new Odinaddi! After much anticipation and hard work behind the scenes, I’m excited to unveil my revamped website.
From Etsy to My Own Canvas: Phase One
As I embark on this new chapter, I’m shifting away from Etsy to my own dedicated platform. This move allows me to provide you with a more personalized experience, streamlined shopping, and direct access to my growing collection of embroidery patterns, kits, and digital resources. I have been growing frustrated with the limitations of Etsy and it now being overrun with a lot of AI and other fake products that are basically scams, as well as wholesalers and a general move away from the focus on individual creators.
Going Forward: Phase Two
This launch is just phase one. In phase two, you can look forward to:
Expanded Pattern Collection: A curated selection of my embroidery patterns, focusing in on fantasy themes, butterflies and moths, wildlife and florals, celtic knots, expanding on individual pieces I already have into wider collections, and adding heirloom style patterns for family trees. As well as collaborations with other artists and makers.
Free Guides and Tutorials: Empowering you to master the art of embroidery with step-by-step tutorials, tips, and techniques. My plan is to build a useful bank of information, a wiki of sorts, on everything embroidery. You'll be able to contribute to these, too, and together we can build something really useful for new and experienced stitchers alike!
Resources Galore: Downloadable patterns, tools of the trade recommendations, and insightful blog posts to fuel your creativity.
What's Next: My Vision for the Future, Potential Phase Three & Onwards
Looking ahead, I have ambitious plans to enrich the Odinaddi experience even further. I want to explore and consider various other things, though whether they will come to light, or when, is another thing:
Physical Products: Full pattern kits with everything you need delivered straight to you, as well as various accessories to make stitching life easier and more fun!
Community Engagement: A space to connect with fellow embroidery enthusiasts, share your creations, and inspire one another. Stitch alongs and other fun community activities.
Membership Opportunities: Exclusive access to premium content, live workshops, and special offers.
